About Doris Swart

Perth based, fine arts artist, Doris Swart, has been honouring her creative passion of the arts for the past four years. After studying an intense mastery program at the Milan Art Institute, Swart found her love for self expression through colour, shape, and form. Combing abstract with realism/surrealism, and mixing of different mediums, allows Swarts artwork to resonate with an original and authentic vibration, true to her own unique expression, showcasing her innermost self, and connecting to her collectors worldwide.

Through the birth of her son, Swart made the decision to actively pursue her dream career as a professional artist. It was the process of becoming a mother, a creator of life that she understood her deepest power and awakened her destiny to becoming a professional artist.

Swart has always possessed an unwavering passion for the essence of art. As a child her parents recall memories where she would be found hiding with her set of paints, painting expressive colours wherever she could, on what whatever she could but most of the time painting herself! 

Swart now creates from her home studio, using a range of different mediums, mixed media and acrylic paints, finishing all her original pieces with rich, oil paint, aiding to activate colour frequency, giving each piece depth and a dimensional feel. After gaining a following of 40k+ on TikTok, Swarts pieces are now held in private collections in Australia, NZ, US, UK, Canada, Europe and Finland. Swart utilised this platform to inspire other creatives to pursue their passions and dreams, whilst providing artist tips and how to's to aid learning and direction in the creative community to express self freely and passionately.

Swarts future evolution is to connect to community in a more in person approach through art workshops, murals, community projects and collaborations. She dreams to unite the human and the artist within all, giving a more rounded perspective to life with a deeper understanding through the art of the imagination and creativity.

Swart dreams to teach and inspire others to break free and actively pursue their dreams, through either a masterful piece of art, or her uplifting outlook on life.
